Last year I showed off the ZCMI holiday windows from Salt Lake City. Click here to read the back story about them and their colorful (and flavorful) history.
As I just spent ten weeks in Salt Lake City on family business, I had a chance to see them again. This time I had my bicycle with me so I rode to Main Street at 11pm on a Sunday evening to take them in. Being Utah, the street was deserted at that hour so I got to enjoy them up close and alone.
The candy crafters did a bang-up job, as usual. Three of the windows featured a balloon theme built around the Macy’s “Give, Love, Believe” motto for 2020’s Christmas season.
The other three windows featured a large, decorated ornamental ball and two happy creatures: a yeti and a unicorn.
Following are some detail shots of the yeti.
I hope you all find sweet treats this holiday season! For more of sprite’s Virtual Advent Tour, click here.
Ho ho ho!
