PPTC Nokesville Picnic Ride. Rode strong – it helps that I wasn’t riding yesterday, so my legs were fresher than most in the group. Did well in the sprints, too. The route is scenic, if not overly hilly – the pace was 21 mph average for the duration.

And the weather – wow! Today was the better of the two days for riding: low humidity, comfortable temperatures, a cooling breeze, simply ideal.
