This is what a couple days of piecemeal assembly has accomplished: a bike that’s about 70 percent of the way to ride-ready.
I’ve actually progressed a little bit past this point, but ran into an impasse when I discovered that I had Shimano brake cables, and not Campagnolo-compatible. So tomorrow, along with the cut-down of the steerer tube on the fork, the LBS will be the source of some cables.
But the thing is light, and I’m stoked. Hopefully my head will be clear enough of the cold to enjoy Sunday’s PPTC ride.
