PPTC “Downtown Breakaway” ride, Mohican Hills route. This was my first ride on my loaner bike, a Cannondale R800 that a generous PPTC friend let me borrow until I could find a new frame. It was okay, though the rear derailleur cable stretched a bit during the ride, making shifting a bit hit-or-miss (it made the town line sprint back to DC a no-go, as my chain skipped a bit). But I was strong on the ride, and it was a fun group. We should be able to do the same route next week, so long as there’s good weather.
