PPTC “Bastille Day Century From The Real City” ride, led by me (the route can be seen here). We had a small group turn out, but it was a good gang and we all enjoyed the ride. The weather couldn’t have been better: clear skies, low humidity, and heat that wasn’t overbearing. The time for the 100.0 mile run was 5:15 – quite good, considering the start and finish were in suburban and urban areas where it’s tough to maintain speed.
And what a way to celebrate Bastille Day! Vive la France!

Wow – Bethesda, MS? Much further than I’ve been in a while…
Just kidding – enjoyed reading about the trip back home.
