update from slc

Made it to Salt Lake City late on Wednesday. Storms up and down the east coast threw all flights from BWI akilter. We were very lucky that ours was a non-stop to SLC.

Mom’s surgery went well, though she’s staying an extra day or two in hospital because of the pain (hip replacement is traumatic, after all). It gives sprite and me a chance to do more prep of the house for her mobility issues.

Haven’t had a chance to get on the bike yet – might get to ride tomorrow.
