First post-work ride in a long, long time – and it felt great! I left around 5:20 pm, and the traffic was really heavy. There were a few really belligerent drivers (if they’re reading this: I love you, too – perhaps you should try riding a bike, too), but overall it wasn’t too bad once I left MacArthur Boulevard. There were a good number of fellow cyclists on the road, too, and I heard a lot of peeping frogs in the C&O Canal on the way back to The Burrow.

Hey, I love the new look on the blog.
Isn’t daylight savings time great? I was able to hit some singletrack on the way home on Monday.

Thanks for the kind words about the new look! I’m happy with it: modern, yet readable.
And DST works wonders on the evening end. On the morning end, though, it’s a pain in the butt. I’m adjusting, but it’s still a chore to try and left my head before sunrise.
