Went to see Gray Matters tonight with sprite. The movie was a fun film: quirky and low-key, with a talented cast and decent writing. Heather Graham, Tom Cavanagh and Bridget Monahan are very well cast as the leads in the film: two siblings (Graham and Cavanagh) who fall in love with the same woman (Monahan). To me, however, the performance of the movie belongs to Alan Cumming, who plays a world-wise taxi driver with an incredible sense of humor.
The movie is not without its flaws, and has once glaringly incongruous scene in an elevator which seems very tacked-on. But the movie works, as a whole, and is at least worth of a matinée viewing.
