It is sad to hear of the death of Denny Doherty, who passed away today at the age of 66.

As a founding member of The Mamas & The Papas, Denny was an incredible musician, singer and arranger. Many kids of recent vintage will remember him as The Harbormaster from the Theodore Tugboat series on PBS and CBC.

How sad for Michelle Phillips, who is the only remaining member of the groundbreaking 60s group that brought the world “California Dreamin'” and “Go Where You Want To Go.”
