Flew into Salt Lake City last night to be greeted by a steady snowfall – yay!
Winter, you’ve been missed!
All day, lake effect snows have shrouded the Wasatch Mountains, and the alpenglow this evening was most lovely.
I spent today hanging out with my mom, going over things (e.g. house repairs, our trip to Austria next month), enjoying the most delectable Market Street chowder, and getting acclimated.
Tomorrow, it’s off to hit the slopes at Snowbird, followed by a trip to Park City on Sunday. I write this post from Salt Lake Roasting Company, as mom’s house doesn’t have internet access (and I like the coffee, besides – it was a haunt in my salad days).

Hey bub. Haven’t been to the Ro-Co in years. Got time for a beer or something before you head back?
Also, please update blogroll. My address and format have changed.

Okay, more like “too much coffee” days.
Waaaaay too much coffee.
