Solo ride that I squeezed into my post-work routine, as I’m on campus all day tomorrow for new student orientation (i.e. dealing with overprotective parents and kids who don’t understand computer security). T’was a fine ride: fast, with good spin time, some out-of-the-saddle sprints up hills, and a fast cruise back to my office. And my average speed was nearly identical to the Tuesday night PPTC ride – the big difference this time being that I rode solo tonight, so no pacelines, “rabbits” or conversation. Good times….

More importantly – was ice cream had? Amazingly, we went to JP Licks (which was empty!) and I had kahlua ice cream! Huzzah!

Yum!
Well, I posted this entry from my office, where I picked up my backpack full of work clothes. After that, I rode home, showered, cooked dinner, etc.
Once that was all done, Larry’s had closed (which is odd, since they’re usually open quite late on Friday and Saturday). So we traipsed up to Rite-Aid and bought Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia – a nice compromise.

As long as ice cream of some form was had, all is swell! 🙂
