An impromptu PPTC ride that started at Glen Echo, MD, though I rode in from The Burrow. The weather was really, really hot, and I made sure to keep hydrated. I broke away from the group to head home early – they continued on to Poolesville. I made up for that by adding lots of hills along the way, including the double-whammy on Loughboro Road, just inside the DC line. A good ride, all around, and I was home by 12:30.
