I’ve spent the better part of the week getting my digestive system back in order. It was a slow climb back to something resembling “normal,” but things seem to be going well now. And I’ve been riding to work every day, putting in 26.9 commuter miles through the course of the holiday-shortened week.
So this weekend I resume the big miles on the bike. I’m looking at a 60-to-80 mile ride tomorrow, and a 60-ish mile ride on Sunday. Should be good to get the legs moving again.
Also, I just received my first ride leader position for Potomac Pedalers, a ride from DC on July 15 – oh yeah! The best part is that the route originates two blocks away from The Burrow, so it’s easy to get an early start on things. I can’t wait for that!
