A leisurely ride with a friend, this was my first real go on the road bike since the accident. Shoulder held up really well – so well that I planned on riding the PPTC Glen Echo ride – a misplaced keyring thwarted that endeavor (next week, I’m there!). The leaves were spectacular in Rock Creek Park: shades of yellow and orange that filtered the abundant sunlight into warm glows as we rode underneath the canopy ot elm, maple and pine.
