A marathon ride with the Potomac Pedalers. The PPTC aspect started in Glen Echo, so I rode from Dupont to Glen Echo, then joined the group and went on the “mix-and-match” ride route. I did two “short” legs, out and back, then fished by riding back to Dupont. My right knee is feeling a little sore (it’s been feeling funky since the night of the Pink Martini concert), but otherwise I feel great. It’s the longest single-day ride I’ve done since high school, and it makes me feel like a century is doable in August.
