picnic was a hit!

The birthday picnic was wonderful! sprite invited some of our friends, and Susan, Sam and Julie showed up at Meridian Hill Park (also known locally as Malcolm X Park) for a fine sunset picnic. Everybody brought some food and drink, fun stories were told, and a great time was had. The park was a perfect location, and we were entertained by a couple of people who were practicing their tightrope walking skills (impressive). The sunset was also wonderful tonight, though it got chilly after dark.

Still, it was a rousing success. Perhaps we should have more picnics!
