Activity: road cycling
Location: Washington, DC (work commute + side trip to Tidal Basin)
Distance: 5.9 mi.
Duration: 38 min.
Weather: sunny, 68 degrees
Max HR (bursts): 180 (beats in 10 seconds x 6)
Avg HR: 125
Type: aerobic (barely)
In addition to my normal commute, I made a side trip to the Tidal Basin after work to admire D.C.’s famous cherry blossoms. They were quite beautiful, if a tiny bit past peak. In addition to my ride, I also walked 1.5 miles around the Tidal Basin and the FDR Memorial (the bike’s odometer kept track of the walk distance). Given that the rest of the week will be cooler and/or rainy, it was good to get a ride in today.

Good god, you’re fast. Not only did you have time to take the ride/walk, but you’ve already had time to blog about it!
