A nice day for the season’s first longer bike ride. The District is crowded due to the Cherry Blossom Festival, so it wasn’t really an “open road” ride, but it was good. I’ve lost a little of my aerobic base from last year, but not as much as I’d thought. The end of the ride was really hilly, coming out of Rock Creek Park through upper northwest residential streets, and my areas that need work showed a bit more (namely: quads, glutes, abs and arms). All told, though, a good ride. Hopefully I’ll get another ride in tomorrow.
