Given that a new stadium will be built for the Washington Nationals, a lot of people are speculating about the design. Andrew Clem, a big-time baseball fan, has come up with his own proposal for a D.C. stadium. His design is quite interesting: unique, not a cookie-cutter “neo-retro” stadium that was the wave of the late-1990s, and with great sightlines of Capitol Hill.
Good job, Andrew!

It sounds like a nice stadium design (which inevitably means it won’t be chosen). I especially like the idea of making it so passerbys could see what’s going on — a throwback to the old days when kids shimmied up trees to illicitly watch summer day games).
