Given the national media hoopla over the Schiavo case (my $0.02: the Feds shouldn’t be involved, and shame on Congress for belittling the republic with their political, anti-woman, anti-logic approach), it’s time for a new label for the neo-cons. Fortunately, Jerome at MyDD has come up with a doozy: theocons.

OMG you are SOOOOOOO right on that. I’ve been percolating a blog post of my own on the subject. The bastion of the press the New Haven Register did a “talk back” phone in on this same subject – the responses ranged from the typical “Get government off my body” to “The government needs to stop the judges from killing everyone”.
Brain dead is just that: brain dead. I can’t believe the parents believe that her parents don’t realize that it’s not going to get better 15 years later.
